Children's Church

OVERVIEW:

Children's Church is for ages 3 (and any 2 year olds that are ready) through 1st Grade.  We meet while parents are in Sunday Morning Church.  Children's Church is designed to provide "church" at their level.

The 3 and 4 Year Olds meet with Mrs Kellie and Miss Lindsey.
We have 5 centers that we go through each Sunday.
Center 1 is Play Center where the kids play with toys like puzzles and blocks.
Center 2 is Story Center where Mrs Kellie tells the bible story for the day. We also have a time of prayer during this center.
Center 3 is Craft/Snack Center. Each week we have a snack and a craft.
Center 4 is Game/Activity Center. We play a game or activity that goes with our lesson and sing songs.
Center 5 is Puppet Center where the kids enjoy a puppet show.

The 5 and 6 year olds meet with Mrs Theresa and Miss Danielle. They enjoy bible stories, snacks, crafts, games and activities. Mrs. Theresa gives out prizes for kids that can learn their memory verses.

The class is currently working on a DVD that shows all the different things that we do. Whenever we get it finished it will be shown during the Sunday Morning Service!
